I think it's one of those things that you have to just put it to your lips and take it like a man! lol! A friend of mine said he used to mix it with other juices but it just wasn't worth it, as the taste overpowered everything else. It's almost pure chlorophyll. Sometimes I'll drink an ounce and then down a glass of apple juice after it to try to get rid of the aftertaste. I read a book saying that you should eventually work up to 4 ounces a day and just reading it made me want to gag! But the stuff is really good for you and worth the minute of discomfort. Guest guest
>Something else totally apart from this is a term I've seen used in mailing lists. When women refer to their husbands as DH. Is that Dear Husband or something else? Yes, it's Dear Husband. It's more frequently (tho not exclusively) used on housewife-y lists by " SAHMs " who are fundamentalist Xtians, supported by their husbands, their lords & masters, according to the sexist drivel they to. Makes me want to projectile vomit!! Which is not to say that anyone's husband mightn't be a dear ;-) Considering that it is so nutritious & easy to grow, if anyone could find a way to make wheatgrass taste halfway decent, they would be a real dear! It's hard to cover the taste, as someone noted about trying to mix it with carrot juice. Perhaps mixing it in small quantities w/a large amount of another juice, maybe a fruit juice. The wheatgrass I juice is so sweet naturally, almost sickeningly sweet. I'm afraid sugar would only make it more intense. I agree with Jeff...just gulp it down and follow up with something more pleasant tasting. Gloria

But the stuff is really good for you and worth the minute of discomfort. hey there, i find that it's not really a bad taste just extremely strong taste. at first it is so overpowering it is hard to drink, but now i find i almost enjoy it. just have to get use to it. the easiest way i found is i got a 2 oz shot glass and just down it in one quick gulp. i wash it down with a smoothie. its a wonderful and invigorating way to start the day. peace jeff
