Guest guest
VEGETARIAN PAN GRAVY 1 large onion, finely diced 1/2 cup oil Saute until dark brown. Then add: 1/4 cup plus 1/8 cup whole wheat pastry flour Continue browning over heat until the flour becomes very brown. Have the following liquids ready to pour into the flour mixture: 2 cups water 2 tsp. McKay's Chicken Style Seasoning 1/2 tsp. salt Mix together the water, seasoning, and salt. Microwave for 3 minutes. Then stir quickly into the browned flour mixture. Use a wire whisk to stir so that lumps do not form. The mixture will thicken as it comes to a boil. Allow the gravy to simmer for 1 - 3 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly. Makes about 3 cups. You may adjust the seasonings for your preferences (add Bragg's Aminos or soy sauce or Savorex). http://www.VeganFoods4HealthyLiving http://www.VintageVeganTea http://www.Christian-Vegan-Cooking http://www.AllNaturalSweetenerRecipes http://www.
