Guest guest
Lately I've been enjoying a dressing I made from flax seed oil & apple cider vinegar (both supposed to be good for you but I think they taste icky alone ). I jazz it up with garlic, pepper or nutritional yeast and it turns out like a very tangy ceasar. Peace, Diane
Guest guest
warning: this is a very addictive dip!! Combine 1 cup slivered almonds and 3/4 cup water in your blender and let go for like 10 minutes. You may have to add more water depending on how thick/runny you want your dip to be. Then add 1-2 inches of ginger root and some honey to taste. I usually use 2 inches of ginger and 1.5 Tbsp of honey. Another dip idea: Combine 1 cup slivered almonds and 1/2 cup water with 2 Tbsp oil, 1 Tbsp vanilla and a little bit of sweetener (maple syrup works good) and blend for 10 minutes or so. May need more oil depending on how your blender does with the thickness. This will give you a fluffy kind of thick almond dip. My boyfriend says it tastes like thick whipped cream. Yet another: - Cashews, water, oil, and avocado in the blender. I can't say for how long as I have only made it once. Was yummy but I don't remember how much I used ) cheers! -Abbey =) > " Linda Lechler " <llechler > > > eating raw veggies >Sun, 04 Apr 2004 21:47:23 +0000 > _______________ STOP MORE SPAM with the MSN Premium and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca & page=byoa/prem & xAPID=1994 & DI=1034 & SU=http://\ hotmail.com/enca & HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines I'm trying to get into the habit of eating more raw veggies, but haven't found any good recipes for veggie dips, etc. Does anyone have any tips/recipes for eating raw veggies?
