Guest guest
On Flax Seed: I just include a tablespoon of actual Flax seeds in my salads. Don't do more than 2 tablespoons a day! You can also add flax seeds to soups or rice and beans, just mix it in , I have no problems with the taste, maybe I am missing something! On another note, does anyone know what the " D " means next to the Kosher simple on Morningstar boxes, and other products? Guest guest
Hi, I wasn't grinding them, but after I got your message I did a little further research. I see that they say that grinded gives you the fullest nutritional value. I tried it last night. A tablespoon grinded is more that a tablespoon of seeds. It basically was tasteless on my salad. I grinded them up with the coffee grinder. I must say that I like to eat as "unprocessed" and natural as possible. Sometimes being time consuming or inconvenient it is hard to do this. But with the flax seeds, after doing more research, I still believe for me that buying them bulk and adding them to one meal, even grounding them, to me is more preferable than getting the oil. Just my thoughts. THANKS for pointing out about grounding them. I hadn't read about grounding them until you mentioned it.
