Guest guest
With fall approaching, thought I'd share my chili recipe. About 2 cups or more of fresh, peeled, blanched whole tomatoes - crushed 1 can of kidney beans 1 can of black beans 1 can of chili beans 1 can of white beans (I drain all of the beans but the chili beans) 1 pkg of fresh mushrooms - chopped About 1 cup of fresh raw corn 1 or 2 red chilis - chopped fine 1 jalapeno - chopped fine 1 green pepper - chopped About 4 cloves of garlic - minced Tons of chili powder Couple dashes of cumin Small shake of oregano Several shakes of onion salt (I don't like real onions so I use the onion salt) Fresh ground pepper Throw it in a crock pot for at least 5 hours on low. Pretty spicey - freezes well. Lisa
