Guest guest
And don't forget Joanne Stephaniak's " Ultimate Uncheeze " cookbook. She's got tons of great recipes. Guest guest
I'm not sure that anyone has mentioned it, but there is a line of " cheeses " from a brand called Follow Your Heart. I also don't know the availability, but they have been around the Portland, Oregon vegan haunts for about a year. I don't really like the taste of the cheddar, but the mozzarella and jack cheeses taste great. They are great for pizzas and even grilled " cheeses. " that's right: they melt! They're still not quite like real cheese, but it's the closest thing I've found. One place that carries it, Food Fight! Grocery (all vegan), may know how to get it. Or you could ask them to add it to their online store. www.foodfightgrocery.com. hope it helps. --- Richard <travler2 wrote: > > Toffuti has 3 varieties of sliced " American " , > " Mozerella " , > and " Garlic Mozerella " Kosher and Vegan. Guest guest
Here in the Northeast the big natural foods distributor, United, only carries Follow Your Heart Vegenaise (which is quite good BTW, particularly the original non-organic). Follow Your Heart does sell direct online.
