Guest guest
Hello, I just joined the group and thought I would post a recipe and say hi. I am not near my recipes so I have to post an easy one with ingredients I can remember by heart. :-) I live in Northern CA with my husband (non-vegan but supportive) and our three dogs (vegetarian). I have been vegetarian for about 12 years and vegan for 3 years. Tamara BEER BREAD 3 cups flour (white is yummy, but whole wheat pastry flour is also tasty and obviously much healthier - you can experiment with different types of flour) 3 T sugar 3 t baking powder 1 t salt 1 can/bottle beer Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together dry ingredients. Add beer and mix well. Pour batter into an oiled loaf pan and bake for about an hour, or until lightly browned. Tastes great warm topped with soy margarine.
