Guest guest
Hi Leslie, I'm new here too. I've not made it to the point of being totally vegetarian either...yet. I'm having much more success now than in the past. For me variety is key. This loop is helping tremendously. Also, if you haven't, you might want to check to see what books your library carry on the subject. I'm reading a wonderful book right now; actually it's a cookbook, but has lots of info beyond just recipes. It's called " The American Vegetarian Cookbook " , by Marilyn Diamond. Another good series of books are the ones written by Dr. Dean Ornish. I've gone through his book and am completely convinced that eating vegetarian is the most healthy way to eat. Guest guest
Hello there, I am Susie - a newbie to both this site and veganism I am slowly branching out to find new things to eat! I have to admit that since I started I have 100% better - at first I had some headaches but I think that was from withdrawals of some of the foods I was eating, but now that I am aware of nutrient needs and how to at least attempt to cover them with foods I eat, I havent had any.... My quest is to find recipes that are going to pass the finicky non- vegans in my home!!
