I really only know what has worked for me about flax

seed oil. But also I wasn't and haven't been eating

lots of raw veggies or vegetables. Was sort of heavy

into grains and grilled vegtables. I live in the NE in

the winter, and sort of crave hommey cooked food.

Flax Oil is suggested two tablespoons a day one at

night one in the morning. I only take it if I'm

feeling tired or craving meat, and it seems to work. I

only mention it not to promote the propaganda, but it

keep me from having to eat some fish (which now tasts

dirty).

I'm switching to a primarily raw diet and will see if

the need for essential fatty acids gets met that way.

What do you guys eat to get more good fats?

Matthew,

I get good fats from avocados, nuts and seeds, olive

oil, and tofu. Walnuts are especially high in Omega-3

fatty acids, which are found in fish. Bonus: walnuts

don't contain the mercury and other toxins found in

fatty fish, plus animals don't have to die! :)

hey there,

best things for good fats are nuts and seeds. also avocados are

really high in good fats, too bad they are sooooo expensive around here,

since they are so sinfully delicious.
