Today's yumminess

I only worked a half day today, so I decided to stop at the grocery

on the way home and splurge on veggie sushi for lunch. Way too good.

I was in heaven.

 

Then, for supper, I made the sweet-potato stew at

http://www.fatfreevegan.com/stews/af-peanut.shtml , and it was

really good. Sweeter than I expected, and not as spicy (the recipe

didn't say when to add the jalapenos, so I added them with the

tomatoes, which may have reduced their heat, I don't know), but that

turned out to be just perfect. I also served some jasmine rice and

heaps of steamed broccoli. What a lovely dinner. I have a happy

tummy.

 

(Strawberry ice cream for dessert. Mmm.)

The dinner sounds delicious. We don't seem to have had time to try

anything new for ages now, but your post has put me in the mood for

looking in recipe books :-)
