RE: vegan diabetics

if she did, she would be wrong. My ex-husband was a

diabetic, and fat, cholesterol, and high consumption

of animal protein are all the opposite of helpful for

those with diabetes. Recommended dietary guidelines

for someone with diabetes include not only counting

carbs, but also strict control of those intakes. You

should have no problem doing these things on a vegan

diet.

 

If you aren't already, you might want to sign up for

 

 

It seems that there are a number of people there who

are managing health concerns via a vegan diet- you may

find a correspondent there.

If they do recommend that you go on a meat and dairy based diet, I

would be curious to know their reasons why. By the way, about what

percentage of the food that you eat would you say is cooked and what

percentage would you say is raw?
