Guest guest
I have had a package of miso for nearly a decade. I'm almost out, but what I still have is still good--just cooked with it about two weeks ago. I keep the miso in a small (about 200 ml) Tupperware container that is air-tight. Dana [dana] November 7, 2002 3:55 PM Veg-Recipes how long does miso last? I usually buy a small tub of the stuff, and don't use it *that* much, and was curious how long I can use it for safely. Any ideas? Weeks, months? Now that we're getting into soup-making season, I'll be using more of it now, but odds are low I'd use up a whole container of it within 6 months - is it reasonable to expect it to last that long? Thanks! Dana
Guest guest
Hi! I bought a tub of miso, and I am wondering how long it will keep in the fridge. The sell by date is 9-2006. I just opened it today. I always ask myself the same question everytime I buy miso...and now I actually remembered to ask you all! Thanks in advance, Julie
Guest guest
A very long time! Probably longer than the year listed on the package... I'm not making any promises though :-) Rachael
