steel cut oats

I have made steel cut oats and they do not taste very good

have I done something wrong?

anyone have a good way to make them?

I make them in my crockpot, overnight. Add what ever sweetner you choose and throw in some dried fruit. Once you sweeten them up, they are great

You do have to cook them a long time, I think 30-40 minutes or more. It

would probably work best on the stovetop, not in the microwave. Then

add fruit, sweetener, nuts, or whatever you like.
