Guest guest Posted January 7, 2006 Report Share Posted January 7, 2006 Hello, everyone. My name is Kelle. I am a yoga instructor in Fort Worth, TX and the mom of three busy kids, 13, 12 and 10. In the last 3 1/2 years I have lost 148 pounds. I lost the weight by giving up sugar and flour and other " white " things, which really worked for me, but I am now feeling led to eliminate all animal products from my diet as well. I am also really feeling this is the right thing to do for my children and husband, too (he still is quite overweight). I am excited to have found this group and am looking forward to finding family friendly, quick, and most importantly, tasty, vegan recipes for us to try.
