Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm trying to get in the habit of making more main dishes that use whole grains. Does anyone have a favorite whole grain cookbook to recommend? I have lots of cookbooks that have whole grain recipes, but something where the book's theme is whole grains (or whole grains and beans) would be really helpful. Thanks a lot! Guest guest
The cookbook " Vegan Planet " has lots of whole grain recipes, even the stews and soups are often served over whole grains. It's not exclusively whole grain though, but most recipes have some. It's written by a chef and she really knows how to season things. Guest guest
This is my first post here and I just bought the Vegan Planet last weekend. What a coincidence. I tried 3 recipes from it this week and they turned out pretty good. My 2 young children especially liked the fettucini with tomato and red lentils. My husband and I really liked it too. We also tried the Indian Spiced Quinoa and it was good too, although my kids didn't like it very much. I'm sensitive to eggs and dairy and seriously thinking about going vegan or at least making vegan dishes most of the time. I'm still not sure, but I'm looking forward to learning more about cooking Vegan.
