Guest guest
I love cream of wheat (farina -- I buy it in bulk for much less than it costs in the box). Usually, I make it according to package directions (5 parts water, 1 part farina, etc.). Today, I had some soymilk to use up, and I remembered how my mom's boyfriend used to make us cream of wheat with milk. So I used soymilk instead of water. Oh. My. Gosh. With a few raisins and a bit of rice syrup (agave or sugar or whatever), this is SO creamy and decadent. Yum. Serene

I get it in the bulk bin at my local grocery, which is really a giant health-food store. I bet you could also go online for it. Let me look: Here's some, a little over US$1 a pound: http://www.bulkfoods.com/search_results.asp?txtsearchParamCat=14 & txtsearchParamT\ ype=ALL & txtsearchParamMan=ALL & txtsearchParamVen=ALL & txtFromSearch=fromSearch & txt\ searchParamTxt=1801 Serene
