I love cream of wheat (farina -- I buy it in bulk for much less than it

costs in the box). Usually, I make it according to package directions

(5 parts water, 1 part farina, etc.).

 

Today, I had some soymilk to use up, and I remembered how my mom's

boyfriend used to make us cream of wheat with milk. So I used soymilk

instead of water.

 

Oh. My. Gosh. With a few raisins and a bit of rice syrup (agave or

sugar or whatever), this is SO creamy and decadent.

 

Yum.

I get it in the bulk bin at my local grocery, which is really a giant

health-food store. I bet you could also go online for it. Let me look:
