Guest guest
I think:1) It's good that Burger King and others have seen the emerging and growing market for vegetarian choices among consumers who purchase in fast food chains.2) It's good that consumers who purchase in fast food chains will have an opportunity to purchase meatless burgers.3) It's good that Burger King is likely to take market share from McDonald's, forcing McDonald's to offer their own variety of meatless burgers, too.4) It's good that Burger King realized the wisdom of making their veggieburger vegan-acceptable (sans the mayo, of course, and we don't know about the vegan-acceptability yet of the bun).5) It's not so good that conventional chains haven't yet seen the light on this issue. However, when the fast food chains and the grocdery stores "see the light," then the availability of vegetarian options (and hopefully also vegan options) will become nearly universal.6) I think that it's good that we are strongly and much more quickly now "becoming fully mainstream." [Editorsnote: If you intend to try one, note that the burger normally has mayonnaise(with egg) on it and may be cooked on the same grill as the other burgersunless you specifically request otherwise.]>> -------> Spread the word--forward this message to> a friend so awareness can grow!> ------->~~ VegansUncensored info ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Was this message Off Topic?
