Angie - This is a list for vegans, not about them. Members are welcome to

talk about anything they want although they should indicate when a message

is not directly related to veganism by adding [OT] to the subject line so

that you can choose not to read those messages if they are of no interest

to you.

 

Simon - Please start adding OT to the subject line otherwise I might have

to put you on moderation. While I have no problem with the discussion of

religion on this list it isn't of interest to everyone and so all I ask is

that you add an indicator out of consideration for other members.

Sorry if I did not make myself clear. Some people are only interested in

veganism and the use of the OT is for them. This list advertises itself as

a vegan list so draws in members who for whatever reason only have time or

interest in that area.

 

I guess once more it's a case of trying to please everyone but I think

having separate on topic/off topic lists would be overkill, especially when

using the OT can solve the problem.
