Guest guest
Hi Simon! - Who could deny evilness, horror ,what ever you want call > it exits. Nobody with any sense!! I would never be daft enough to say otherwise!=) My point was basically that, if we want to use the Bible to talk about the origin of evil and related things, we need to take care that we are consistant with it. The Bible refers very plainly to Satan as a distinct personality and not as the evil within man etc. >The quote I used was from Genesis 1-29, It clearly states > that humans and animals and every thing that has the breathe of life > in it should eat the plants should be theirs for food, Gen 1:29 reads: 'And God went on to say: " Here I have given to you all vegetation bearing seed which is on the surface of the whole earth and ever tree on which there is fruit of a tree bearing seed. To you let it serve as food. " ' Verse 29 mentions only humans, although v30 goes on to talk about " everything moving on the earth in which there is life as a soul " . Think about it though, who was God talking to here? Was it not Adam? And do animals need spoken and written instruction from their creator? They don't do they? All their *natural* behaviour patterns are instinctively programmed and it is an unarguable fact that some animals *are* carnivorous - their digestive systems are designed and built to deal with flesh foods. As I mentioned last time though, ultimately, all animal life relies on plant foods for survival whether they eat the plants directly or get them by eating the digestive organs of herbivores, which is what carnivores do - they rip out herbivorous animals' intestines. Natural ecological control??=) Anyway, the fact remains that humans were designed as very herbivorous, (probably frugivorous), beings and modern research gives overwhelming support to the healthfulness of a plant-based diet.=) > p.s what does mango mean? The fruit???=) It's my favourite food and I often include it in a closing greeting as a way of sharing something nice.=) Also, I'm into a high raw diet so I eat a large amount of fruit. Yum! The fruit in the greeting can very though, so: Love and ripe papaya! Elisabeth.

We,humans it seems, assume that because some animals do eat each other that ,thats how it is meant to be,Lets remember that God said before the food advice, we should rule over the animals, that does not say we should leave animals to their own device, the only conclusion that can be made from this is, in todays world we should be helping animals to rekindle the way they should be eating their food, plant foods!. Domesticated cats and dogs can be live on a veggie diet why not there distant relatives? SP, Plantian and advocado!

I understand I think; why you have missed the simplicity of the texts, Try reading it again as if for the first time, this might help to clear the cobwebs of others misinterpretations of a very simple message! PS I hope you will begin to understand the message! Apples & pears,
