Guest guest
I think one company bought all three eateries... so now one part is the kitchen ... the other the servery(?) and the third is for customers to 'eat in' ... They do good juices tho (at a price) .. some lovely herbal spiked juice combinations.... Guest guest
I had tried to find Neals Yard in the past, without a map by wandering around Covent Garden (the bit that everyone knows by that name) to no joy. Hardly surprsing, it's half way up Charing Cross Road! Everywhere was open when I went, we picked the salad bar as it meant we could eat outside, they also seemed to have the best vegan range. We were next to the kitchen, I noticed their name on the building opposite (to the north I believe) but that was closed so maybe they are doing some work? I don't know what the usual standard of food is but we shared the vegan special and the Lebanese item from the menu and they were both really good. Sadly probably not so much for you as they were cooked. It is a shame they didn't come with salad thinking about it, although my partner doesn't eat 'leaves' so some of it usually goes to waste anyway, a bigger shame. Guest guest
The salad bar/take away used to be at the top of the Yard, and the indoor seating area and kitchens were opposite. Now the salad bar/take away section is closed up and everything is operating in the *southern* part. When I went there last Saturday it was cramped and horrible. I always lunch at Neals Yard when in London as its been perfect for me. Normally the salads are really interesting too. I hope they haven't sold the top part, and will be opening it up again soon!!!
