Guest guest
A person who doesn' believe that there's sin of any kind would surely think that any particular action is not a sin. But does that kind of " moral libertinism " make the world a better place? As a person at work suggested in another context, " Thinking and promoting those thoughts may actually harm rather than help. " I'm reminded what that UK noteworthy, founder of the Vegan-L list, Michael Traub, uses as his signature block: " If we believe absurdities, we'll commit atrocities. " However, we OUGHT to be able to research this quantitatively, with the following research question: Do persons with humanitarian religious training commit MORE violent crimes (including crimes against nonhumans) than are committed by presons with NO humanitarian religious training?Z Maynard S.
