Guest guest
It's not constructive to hate oneself for one's past actions or inactions- somebody once said there are no failures in life- only lessons TTFN BSG , " Angie Wright " <angiewright@n...> wrote: > I hate myself for not dropping animal eating between the ages of 7 and 18 . Guest guest
I hate what I did so I take care not to make mistakes If I make a mistake eg wrong margerine , I feel guilty. The guilt makes me feel bad so I avoid the mistake next time - aw3092001 Thursday, April 11, 2002 11:38 AM Re: Animal eating ----hate How does hating yourself keep you "on the straight and narrow"? , "Angie Wright" <angiewright@n...> wrote:> It keeps me on the straight and narrow . Guest guest
so if you didn't hate yourself for what you did ... then you wouldn't avoid making mistakes... sounds barmy to me... All seemed well, so I ate them. As I threw the packet away, the word 'gelatine' cought my eye. It didn't cross my mind that gelatine would be in crisps. I was on the look out for milk products, so missed it completely. I didn't feel guilty though. Guilt is usually felt when doing something against your principles knowingly. I just felt sick. I make sure that I read everything very, very carefully now.
