It seems ironic to me that Mr Brown has raised taxes to pump into the

health service, but is not prepared to tackle the biggest factors in

human health - food and environment.

We continue to let big food companies promote ( " push " might be a

better term, with its drug-dealing connotations) fat and sugar

laden " food " to us and our children. We continue to detrimentally

exploit our environment despite that fact that healthy food can only

come from a healthy soil. Anyone not see the connection?!

I think the answer is not to throw money at curing symptons, but to

attempt to tackle the causes of ill health and encourage us to be

responsible for our own health by empowering us to change.
