Hi Lesley

Sounds like the wedding was a bit of a disaster! The smoke issue is really

bad for you now, so I would be very selective of what events you decide to

go to in the future.

Its a shame that you didn't have much selection of vegan food still, at

least you had some (I suppose!). Its like when I was vegetarian (this

doesn't even apply to vegans!!!) and in restaurants/pubs there would be one

vegetarian option on the menu, and pages and pages of meat/fish dishes. It

was like *if you're a vegetarian, you'll like this*. Which is totally

untrue!

Did you say anything to the groom about his passion for hare coursing? I

guess it would have been a bit tricky at his own wedding. I wouldn't go

anywhere near him if I knew him, for fear that I would rant and rave about

it! Hare coursing is wicked and there isn't even a reason unlike the

excuses given for chasing and murdering foxes and stags. Hare coursing is

just done for fun - I used to work for someone who enjoyed it as well.

My party last week was good because there were lots of salads and fruits on

offer for me, but that's the sort of food I enjoy. You would have probably

found this boring. I'm one of those vegans who actually does prefer lettuce

leaves!
