Yeah, that's one unfortunate thing about being vegan - most prospective partners get scared off if they're not vegetarian or vegan. We should go and live on a tropical island with a load of vegans Joel.
Guest guest
Just because you don’t get girlfriends doesn’t mean you are gay!!!. I’m celibate (husband left 5 years ago ) and I’ve not met single men my age . This doesn’t mean I fancy women or that I’m happy not to have a man in my life .. C’est la vie ! -----Original Message----- Joel Cartwright [joel] 19 April 2002 21:40 No, come back - I'm not mad... Guest guest
Blimey chaps, what great adverts for veganism you two are; " become vegan!! Never have sex again!! " I must say I've been in a stable relationship since 1986 (plus point- regular sex:-) ) minus point- it's with the same person every time :-( ) (that WAS a feeble attempt at humour before the flames start flying BTW), but before that I don't think the fact that I was vegan affected my 'pulling power' (or otherwise) one iota- if anything the girls were intrigued by the mystique IIRC... Cheers BSG , Joel & Jules moaned that as vegans they arn't getting enough oats anymore....

Guest guest
Yeah I have dreams of vegan societies etc. I was watching one of those crappy castaway-type programs on TV where a group of people go and live in the wild and get filmed and win money for it, usually they are provided with live chickens that they eat etc. I think they should do a vegan one, to prove that we can survive in the wild as well, it would help promote veganism, the programs never have any veggies on it. Apparantly there's a vegan community in Australian bush where they're just vegans, its a bit far tho Jules , Joel Cartwright <joel@f...> wrote: > On Fri Apr 19, 2002, djules_75 wrote: > > I might possibly be gay, I've had loads of girlfriends, but my love > > life stopped completely when I went vegan.
