Guest guest
NOBODY should be punished for using or selling grass just cos Leslie doesn't like it! If using grass, E's or even heroin wasn't criminalised, less peoples' lives would be messed up by impure supply and associated violence and gangsterism! Get real, Leslie! Every serious study shows huge number of young people using grass and NO WAY can the cops stop us! Ever heard of Prohibition in the US? Great success, wasn't it? Guest guest
Sure, sure and tell me Edith, which drugs are killing the most people? The answer, the legal ones, alcohol and tobacco, precisely because they are so commonplace and socially acceptable (although tobacco is getting less so), so more people use them and more people DIE! If we make pot and Es and heroin legal, more people would use them because it would be socially acceptable, and more people would die, in fact drug deaths would skyrocket. It's one way of weeding out the idiots from the gene pool, but I don't think you want to do that, a staunch anti-fascist like you, so why support a policy that will do precisely that? Guest guest
Yeah, if drugs weren't illegal then I would have been able to talk about it to my physics teacher in class. And no-one would bother with scientists' crappy money drugs from mental homes which have been tested on animals. jules , " slg edith " <slgedith@h...> wrote: > NOBODY should be punished for using or selling grass just cos Leslie doesn't > like it! Guest guest
So why not make tobacco and alcholol use a crime too? It worked so well in the US, didn't it? Let's not forget over-eating btw, that's pretty unhealthy too! Yeah, I really think I deserve to go to prison cos I use grass along with millions of other people! It's all for my own good of course! I mean, just cos I can run for miles and train in kick-boxing and stuff don't mean I ain't unhealthy! Truth is cannabis use is a lot less a health risk than alchohol and you don't even have to smoke it! It has proven clinical benefit, so what is your big problem? Pure Heroin was legally prescribed in the UK before Government began the drug scare to control the young generation. Some people were adicts but could still function in society! Since the Government criminalised heroin addiction, the number of users has massively increased, socially disabled and dying in large numbers because legal supply is not available. Drug ABUSE is bad news but state intervention has made it a crisis as even some top cops have admitted! SLG Edith > " Lesley Dove " <Lesley > > >RE: Weed is Vegan! Guest guest
I am in favour of non-smoked cannabis as a medicine on prescription for MS sufferers most definitely, but that is a different issue from using it to get out of your head and you know it! You are confusing the issue, most likely deliberately. You may be able to run and do sports, but for some of us exposure to cigarette smoke causes us to be completely unable to get our breath enough to do sports properly. When I was a child I was unable to run much and hated PE because I was too breathless to cope. My lungs were wrecked by my mum's chain-smoking. What right did she have to do that to me? I certainly believe parents smoking around kids should be illegal, and smoking being made illegal would make most people feel able to breathe more safely. I certainly am appalled at the Government deliberately creating heroin addiction, but we know most politicians are hypocritical b*st*rds anyway, so it doesn't surprise me. You may be fit and sporty right now, but your habits will catch up with you most likely in middle age. Lesley slg edith [slgedith] 24 April 2002 14:21 RE: Weed is Vegan! Yo!
