>Nah they get away with murder!

Well you'd know, it's not like your just basing this judgment on the

attitudes of a few people you know.

>But there are people who take studying really seriously as well, and

>some courses are really demanding.

So you complain that education is all about being taught what they want you

to know, and then if you are given the freedom to purse your own interests

in the subject independently then you complain it's getting away with murder.

Can you ever be satisfied, or do you just like complaining about how hard

done by you are?

No, no no, never mind. I'm being a hypocrite and digging my own hole

again, never mind.

I have to stand by Mike the MOd here...your comments jules are

infantile and tabloidesque. I went to Art college, and I took lots

of drugs...but then I've always took lots of drugs as they are great

and everybody should take them...except Lesley...even the Doctors

know shes just two placebos short of a breakdown!

And yes, there are lots of people there who just waffle their way

through it; and I hated them because they were mostly spoilt middle

class idiots with as much passion as nora batty!

But there are also lots of people who are really into university and

developing themselves; and just because they may take lots of drugs

doesn't debase that at all.

I disagreed and argued the whole way through it. They refused to

give me my honours unless I removed all the swearing from my

disertation...naturally I told them to f**k off...who ever wants to

see your (hons)degree anyway??

so there you go...Dr P.C. is back, and living in his lovely new

house in B'ton with south facing Garden and a large spliff.

I don't agree with that. Some people, like myself, are verry unstable

when they take them: I for example during the withdrawal process

write " infantile and tabloidesque " shit on this e-group. Rather than

say everyone should take drugs: everyone should be vegan.

Those are the kind of people I was talking about, a faction of

society I was part of as well.

Now I'm a social reject, which I prefer being.

As a parent you should understand my frustration and depression and not

being able to get to do things I feel the need to do in my life (or at least

your wife should). I wasn't always like this, it's a reaction to my

situation.

As for the asthmatic attacks, the ventolin does sometimes help, nothing to

do with placebos.

Of coarse I do, but it's got a lot more do with getting off your ass

and getting on with it; rather than constantly whinging and blaming

everyone else.

In that case, you really have no idea just how hard I have tried to get help

with the kids, both for some time for us as a couple and for the possibility

of undertaking work or study, when I would only need one child cared for as

the other two are in school, and yet we can't even get a babysitter to allow

for us to have an evening out together. I think Paul and I deserve some time

for ourselves. I have made loads of phone calls, and let it be known to so

many people what we need, and no luck. I even offered ages ago to organise

an exchange babysitting circle with other veggie and vegan mums in the area

and had no takers.

Maybe it is where we live that people are especially unhelpful.

Maybe the asthma is stress related to some extent, although smoke is the

main trigger.

I didn't whinge until I had truly pulled out all the stops to find the

support we needed, and found none.

In other words she is going through exactly the same as I am going through,

but you aren't prepared to admit she is as screwed up and frustrated as I

am, most likely more so and using drugs to cope, and that you as a family

have as much trouble finding solutions as we do!

Can't bear to lose face can you?

You are so transparent.

Well if I'm transparent you must be even blinder than I thought! I'm

glad you can finally admit to being " screwed up and frustrated " but

please, don't assume others are too, just because they want nothing

to do with you.
