Guest guest
On various instances i have met people through other people and they have said 'nice to meat you', a memorised expression that often goes with a smile and/or a handshake, that, for some reason, I find hard to believe, considering they don't know me yet and there is often nothing nice about it, often its seems as some way of them keeping peace with me which is fair enough. Is an answer of 'not really' too harsh? or are there pro - superficiality vegans about? I've been brought up to be and am good at being nice to people, but I'm getting sick of it. It's just a social ettiquette thing, one of those little rituals that helps oil the social gears, like politeness. Not worth getting in a tiz about. People have said it for centuries I expect, like chatting about the weather. It's not part of the conspiracy, honest... Graham
Guest guest
Morrissey sang about this in " Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now " " in my life why do I smile to people who I'd much rather kick in the eye " " in my life why do I give valuable time to people who don't care if I live or die " At the time I thought, yep I can relate to that.
