Guest guest
I would think that vegans of a great variety of political persuasions exist, yes. I'm not sure what is meant by right-wing or left-wing anyway, as they are labels that are far less simple to define than " vegan " . Politics is quite complex, so maybe someone could define right-wing for us, so that everyone understands the question? Think Tony Bliar, Anne Widdescumbag, Le Pen. Don't ask me, Mavreela asked if I was a while ago, I've always assumed it just meant pro-capitalist nine to five loving money crazy, its probably a bit more complicated than that. I'm pretty much anti- wing myself. Guest guest
do you mean people who practice a form of 'right-wing veganism' ... or vegans who are politically right wing? probably a lot more of the former than the latter... > > djules_75 [djules_75] > Tuesday, April 30, 2002 1:06 PM > > Right wing vegans > > > Do they exist? > > >

Surely 'right-wing veganism' = vegans who are politically right wing? I am assuming you have primary school maths to understand this one. Guest guest
Le Pen is hardly defending the established order in society! The established order in France and most of the European community as I understnad it is to be multicultural and not racist. I can't stand Le Pen and what he stands for, but can you see now that right-wing and left-wing are very hard to define, even for someone like yourself who is quite politically knowledgeable? I would not even know where to start with defining it, so thanks for being braver than me in trying! I'm just not convinced of this definition. I do think you are spot on about Bliar defending the established order, possibly Widdecombe too although she is certainly against hunting. Also you think me to be right-wing on abortion don't you, and yet the established order is to allow it, so how does that fit in with your definition? Guest guest
A right-wing *revolution* is possible in defence of the established order in society -- fascists can overthrow Governments and Constitutions in order to crush the people under capitalist society which is exactly what Mussolini, Hitler, Franco and Pinochet did! French society is in fact very racist against North African immigrants and Le Pen can truthfully say that Bliar is a racist too! When the *left* fails, people are deceived by fascist demagogy, innocent minorities are scapegoated and history may be turned back to darker times...It really isn't so difficult to figure out! > " Lesley Dove " <Lesley > > >RE: Right wing vegans >Tue, 30 Apr 2002 18:20:09 +0100 > > >Le Pen is hardly defending the established order in society!
