Guest guest
long time since i used Eudora (five years or so)... my point was only that Edith's system is fine... the problem was MSN... Received: from [Edith's IP Address] by lw14fd.law14.hotmail.msn.com with HTTP; Wed, 01 May 2002 13:07:48 GMT HTTP doesn't get the time from the user's PC... the point was: " You do know we've put the clocks forward for summer. I know you usually live in the ideas of the past but why not come and join us in the future? " and she's there already... you're just trying to cover up that you jumped to the conclusion that it was EDITH at fault and not someone else... and perhaps she has no control over the time displayed on her pc... z > > Mavreela [nec.lists] > Wednesday, May 01, 2002 4:07 PM > > Re: Edith's clock [ot] > > > > >oh dear... Guest guest
>the problem was MSN... Good work. Well that solve's another mystery. MS don't know we are in DST. We should get a dog and a van and a few girls. >the point was: > " You do know we've put the clocks forward for summer. I know you usually >live in the ideas of the past but why not come and join us in the future? " And you took it seriously, as though I really do want Edith to travel in time??? >and she's there already... you're just trying to cover up that you jumped to >the conclusion that it was EDITH at fault and not someone else... No, I thought it was something that allowed for an, admittedly mildly, funny comment. I am not trying to cover up anything as it wasn't something I took as seriously as you apparently did. Nor did I expect Edith to care less. And you jumped to conclusions in saying it was my system time. And why are we still talking about this. Janey must be going out of her mind. >and perhaps she has no control over the time displayed on her pc... Maybe. Michael
