Guest guest
I've found St John's Wort has as well as an antidepressing effect a certain amount of painkilling effect. You can get it at any health store, though it usually comes in gelatine capsules (anyone know of a brand that doesn't have gelatine capsules?). Otherwise it is a totally natural product, its taken from a flower. The only side effects apparantly are extra sensitivity to sunlight. I found an old bottle a while ago that I'd been given a while ago to help cope with giving up smoking. Unfortunately now I smoke it in my roll-ups sometimes, so much for giving up. The gelatine capsules can be opened and the powder can be taken out. But if I buy another bottle i'd like to find one that doesn't use gelatine capsules. Usually comes in a yellow box. A good health food store will have the organic brand. Michael
