Oh £%$ & *, why do Shell test? Maybe I don't want the answer to this one. My stomach is turning!

probably to find out again and again how much petroleum an otter can stand...

actually, they probably test pesticides is my guess..Shell markets a whole range of "garden" products here

better living thru chemistry

and..on that note..i want to say i spent a good part of my weekend expanding me garden..i about doubled its size(ripped up the nasty lawn)...and, there are twice as many bees and other polinators this year as compared to last year, at least...(i theorize that whomever lived here before me used a whole ton of pesticides, because i think i saw all of 3 bees in my yard last year..)

as long as i win some small victories every once in awhile

Hi Angie

No, I didn't know this - I boycott them because of their slaughter of an African tribe a few years ago! (or was that BP????)

Well done with the gardening. We try to make ours good for wildlife. I grow lots of fragrant plants, and bushes with berries. We even leave some nettles for the caterpillars (it's also good to make a fertiliser with).

We haven't used pesticides for years.
