Guest guest
Boycott Frank Skinner's show. Here is why. Reposted from the Vegan Family House message board: From Lisa, I don't know if anyone watched Frank Skinners Kimonos for Goalposts last night. But if you did you would have been sickened by the sight of him eating Octopus that was still moving and dog. He made a big joke out of eating dog and justified it by saying that the dogs are specially bred. As you and I both know these animals are kept in horrific conditions and are beaten, strangled and skinned alive. Please phone the follwing to register a complaint. The ITC 020 7255 3000 and The LWT Duty Office on 020 7620 1620. I will also get the details of the production company and we can write and complain. The more people that phone the ITC the better. Please state that it is not the fact that dogs are eaten in Korea but the conditions in which they are kept and how they are slaughtered. If people like Frank Skinner make it acceptable to eat dog then there is no hope of having it banned by the Korean authorities. In 1988 they banned the eating of dog while the Olympics were on. These days they are proud of eating dog as they say it is a tradition and they are not trying to hide the practice. Over 2 million dogs each year are eaten Korea, they say that only a few wealthy people eat dog, this is not true, it is something that is increasing year on year. When you phone LWT and the ITC do not expect them to sound very interested, they will just think you are some looney animal lover, but still it is important to complain as brutalising animals is just not acceptable. Guest guest
I just phoned up and registered complaints with ITC and LWT as well. ITC told me that A LOT of people have complained and have given graphic details. Hooray! I said how disgusted I was by Frank eating a live octopus and also mentioned how appallingly these dogs are treated. I hope everyone else complains as well!
