Help! I desperately need to get hold of a humane rat trap - does

anyone have any idea where I might buy one (perhaps mail / internet

order?) Thanks! Jane

Hi Jane,

You can get them mail order from CAT (Centre for Alternative

Technology) - £5.95. http://www.cat.org.uk (choose Green Shop ->

Browse Full Catalogue -> House Hold Products or try this link but I'm

not sure it will work because I suspect they use sessions).

Cheers,

Rob

I asked that question a while ago and bought one (although for a mouse)

from a site Lesley discovered, I can't remember where it was though, if do

a search of the list then it'll be mentioned somewhere. Must be about six

months back.

The trap was a metal box with a clear plastic top which lifts up to release

the mouse. Unfortunately it didn't seem to attract the mice, even with all

the different food attempts to entice them. Only one ever entered, who I

released into the park, but after a while the mice stopped visiting and I

can only assume someone less humane got to them.

It's at:

http://www.trap-man.com/

BUT they also sell non-humane traps so they are not necessarily the most

ethical place for Jane to get a trap from!

I think Rob's answer was better (and cheaper), he was recommending the

Centre for Alternative Technology.
