Hi!

Nutritional yeast flakes appear in quite a few recipes I've read & I

was wondering if anyone knows where to buy it? It isn't stocked in my

local Holland & Barratt. I would rather buy it from a shop, but if

anyone knows of any online shops that sell it ( & take cheques) I

would like to know.

Thank you in advance,

Vicky

Holland & Barratt don't sell them, some local health food stores might

(strangely mine don't). It is surprising they aren't easy to get hold of

as they are made by Marigold who produce the pots of vegan bouillon powder.

You can buy it online at http://www.veganstore.co.uk , I don't know whether

they take cheques but even if it isn't mentioned on the site I'm sure it

wouldn't be a problem if you contact them and ask.

Thank you again!

I'll try Veganstore.

I thought the same when I saw the Marigold bouillon, I wonder why

they don't stock the yeast flakes too - I think I'll write a letter

to Holland & Barratt. It can't hurt to try!

If you're in London you can get the Marigold Nutritional Yeast flakes

from:

Fresh'n'Wild (various sites in London, eg. soho, camden, city)

Planet Organic (Off Tottenham Court road by Habitat, or in West

London).

I think The Country Life in Soho have them too - and they are a

wholly veggie shop (the others stock organic meat).

It may be labelled as Engevita... as that's the brand name the yeast flakes

go under...

Thanks Rob. Much appreciated! Next time I'm in the

city I'll have to check those out. I sometimes visit

one of my company's offices in the city, but I'm

usually in Docklands & there is nowt around here!!
