The simple way to use it is to go to http://mavreela.com/vegan/chat.html on the page enter a nickname and press connect, you can leave the email address blank. If you have an IRC client and would prefer to use that, the details you need are: Server: chat.planetz.net Port: 7000 Room: #veganlist Please note that on this server you can register your name to stop others using it, so you may find on connecting that you are asked for a password. If this happens click cancel and type the command: /nick <newname> Giving a new name instead of <newname> of course. It's probably safe to assume that all the 'normal' names will have been reserved so you might need to be imaginative. If everything works then we can worry about throwing together some instructions explaining how to register your own name later.
