Guest guest
Cleverthingies was right -- the Cuntryside Alliance put us to shame today. I read some comment in the paper from the Transport Workers Union whining about how the hunts had *hijacked* all the *real issues* facing the countryside like rural poverty. Yeah, the hunts have lots of privilage and power but they cannot put three hundred thousand people on the streets if they don't want to be there... So I got a little question for the Transport Workers Union: WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU??? How come a bunch of inbred old fascists in silly red coats can galvanise massive protests on the streets and fat greedy farmers can practically shut down the whole country by picketing the oil refineries but the Transport Workers Union which has nearly a million members including agricultural workers out there CAN'T DO FUCK?????????? AND HERE'S WHY, STUPID -- the official Transport Workers Union is too busy ass-licking Bliar and everyone knows it, so now they're joining the hunts because that is the only game in town that looks like it is seriously gonna screw the Bliar machine. (And that is how Mr Hitler came to power.) Hip, Hip, Hurrah! Guest guest
comes down to money, again!doesnt it If you are an average joe/josephine with an interest in animal rights,or maybe run a sanctuary or an involvement in ethical collective, its not likely that youd be rolling in it(and probably wouldnt really wish to,most of us would probably feel as long as our basic needs are met we are reasonably happy). Enter your fox huntsmaster probably a failed politician that has friends in high places from his public school days, been weaned on government subsides for years, and put his cash into overseas accounts so the taxman doesnt get his mitts on it,and probably only 'manages' his farm, using cheap labour and the only agriculture he does is cutting the lawn because he likes to drive the diesel lawnmower. Who can buy the political agenda, who can buy the media, who can buy bums on seats? Sad,but true? Jak %)

It's all about *ME*! If an issue affects *ME* I will protest. If it affects some poor dying wretch in a lab, or even some poor dying human in another country, only the compassionate care. If it takes money or freedom to abuse others from *ME*, I'll be there! Otherwise I'm too busy/too far away/have other commitments/will find any excuse. Sorry to sound bitter, but I am. Guest guest
Please remember this is the nicey nicey list. If you are going to swear excessively then please either give a warning in the subject line or restrain yourself. And no, swearing in the subject line does not count, don't do it. If you don't like the rules then this list isn't for you, this is not open to debate. Michael List owner.
