Did anyone else see John(?) Cooper of LACS on the Heaven & Earth Show

on Sunday? He obviously feels his organisation will be more appealing

to the masses if he makes disparaging comments (including referring to

them as " bunny huggers " ) about those who are more devoted to improving

the lot of animals than he is. He was at great pains to point out how

he still eats meat and still wears leather shoes. I don't think he's

quite got the plot yet, and I doubt that I'll be rushing to rejoin

LACS as a consequence.

 

I will, however, be emailing LACS to remind him (and them) of the fact

that animal cruelty is animal cruelty no matter where it takes place,

who it is perpetrated by or what the reason for it is....

Yes, I did see it, and yes, I had a similar reaction to you, but on

the other hand some of the people watching might have come away with

a different impression of the anti-hunt brigade than they had before.

 

It is a massive flaw in my character that I despise the person who

goes on an anti-live-exports march with ham sarnies in their pocket -

whereas the person who stays at home gets no flack. So I completely

understand your reaction, but as someone here has already said, use

the media!!!!! At the end of the day - whatever it takes is what we

must do. Ethics are great if we can afford them, but in the final

analysis, who pays?

No I didn't, but everyone knows the official LACS is full of crap.

 

They shut down their own message board because they are PRO-BLIAR GOVERNMENT

MURDER INDUSTRY!!!

 

The LACS has been lobbying for a state ban on hunting for about 100 YEARS

and so long as they think they can make fox-hunting with dogs illegal they

don't care how many foxes the scum kill!

 

So long as they can stop pheasants being shot for sport they don't care how

many millions of birds are grown in cages and industrially slaughtered!

 

Yum, yum, we hate those tree-huggin' veggies too!

 

They would ban falconry cos they reckon there aren't many falconers but they

refuse to acknowledge the cruelty of angling cos they reckon their are far

too many anglers out there!

 

Total hypocrites and cowards, worse than scum -- HELPING TO PRETTIFY THE

FILTHY MEAT TRADE BY *BANNING CRUELTY*!

 

Beware LACS, part of the big fucking lie machine!
