Do many people on here use a mail program which shows the size of messages?

 

Looking back at the last few a four line messages has been 15k, another

four line one was 16k, as was a seven line message. These should only be

between 4k and 5k (due to all the junk added as emails pass around the

internet, plus all of s own mess).

 

Please can people remember to snip messages. If you are quoting the

message you received that is fine (and indeed can be very helpful), but

remove any other messages that it is quoting. For some this can make

downloading slow and expensive (some people do still have pay-per-minute

connections, and not everyone has access to broadband), while for those who

read the list in the digest version it makes for very long emails which

contain the same message repeated several times, and make it difficult to

see where one message begins and another one ends.

 

Please snip messages, it takes very little effort but can make a big

difference.

Dunno but the messages are not arriving on email despite my being

d to receive them individually. Is this to do with something

on my settings still needing to be tweaked, something to do with my

former banning that was not reset? Just wondering if there is

anything you need to check for me.
