Guest guest
Whether or not any of you are attending the Vegan Society AGM and making use of the creche, I hope that some vegan families will attend for the entertainment and social afterwards, as I have been working on making this a more family-friendly occasion. The entertainment (a singer) and cookery demonstration is from 4 - 4.30 pm, the social is from about 4.30 to 7 pm at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London, WC1, and I have found a vegan dad called Dave who will come along with his guitar and lead a sing along for the children sometime during the entertainment or social time. You are asked to bring along kiddies drums, bells, shakers, etc, for them to join in. I am also hoping to ensure that there is some child-friendly food on offer, such as sos rolls or veggieburgers as part of the catering. Lunch is from noon until 2 pm, before the AGM but light refreshments will be available throughout the day. We hope to see many vegan families there on 26th October. By the way Is anyone on this group going to the AGM, families or not? The Dove family
Guest guest
Hi all, Unfortunately I am unable to make the AGM (which I am really cross about as I was looking forward to meeting some of you folks as well as enjoying - no doubt - the fantastic food/entertainment). However I may become an associate member of the Vegan Society so that is something at least??! However I will definately book for next year as it is really good when like-minded people (vegans) meet up as they can encourage each other and not have to worry about food/drink (!) Anyway, how come no-one has replied to the email below about who is going/not going to the AGM??? It sounds like a lot of effort has been made which is fantastic. Bye for now, Nick (blast - forgot about the chat again - there's always next time?)
