Two complaints.

 

Firstly please update the subject line. When the topic of conversation

changes you should modify the subject line to match because some

people don't have time to follow everything and use this to decide whether

something is relevant for them to read. I daresay if anyone from the Vegan

Soc were members they would have missed the entire thread.

 

Secondly, and more importantly. Please trim messages. The thread entitled

" Chat update " kept growing and ended up with a 2 line message that was 29k

and quoted 6 messages. It is sheer laziness and shows a lack of

consideration. It takes people longer to download, and may cost them (not

everyone has broadband or untimed access), it also makes the messages for

thos on the digest form of the list very difficult to follow.

 

Please show consideration for other list members and trim messages, there

is absolutely no excuse and if it does become a problem I will put people

on moderation until they start trimming messages because it inconveniences

people probably more than anything else.
