Hi

I have just joined the list and would like to know if there are any

Vegans in the Midlands area perhaps near Dudley or West Bromwich.

I think I might be asking to much here as I will probably never meet

another vegan in the flesh but then again I have not been Vegan for

long.

One in every 200 people (approximately) is a vegan, so it is unlikely that you will never meet another one in the normal course of events anyway, if you socialise with people that is, Angie's advice is good and straight to the point, but even if you are not the campaigning type (I'm not much so these days but will be again when my kids are older), there are likely to be events in your area, is Wolverhampton any good? I saw this on Vegan Village, WVD is this Friday, 1st November.

WORLD VEGAN DAY IN WOLVERHAMPTONWolverhampton Vegetarian and Vegan Network will be holding a vegan food tasting day at the City Bar, Kings Street (off Dudley Street) Wolverhampton, 12 noon until 4pm. The group are hoping to show more people that vegan food is not boring, that it can be more exciting than a meat based diet and is cruelty free. Free food fairs are a brilliant way to get over the vegan message. The group has put together a plan on how to run a fair. Send a A4 SAE for a copy, to PO Box 339, Wolverhampton WV10 7BZ. network27.10.02

Also check out the Veggies Animal Contacts Directory in the West Midlands,
