Guest guest
(I was sending this to another list, and thought there may be people here somewhere that might appreciate it) The truffle recipe I've used goes along the lines of : Whizz prunes in food processor (either get bored removing stones first, or buy ones with the stones already removed) with a touch of rum Melt a bar of good dark (vegan :-))chocolate... Mix shredded prunes with the chocolate Leave it to cool a bit Roll into balls (getting plenty of mixture on hands so you get to clean it off afterwards) Roll balls in (a) coconut or (b) cocoa powder as appropriate... Chill in fridge Amazing how nice prunes can be :-) Steve W
Guest guest
i tried this but when i got to melting the chocolate i found it had all been eaten... is there a simpler way of doing this? Guest guest
Seemed pretty simple to me :-) Unless you mean the " resisting eating the chocolate " part, which seems to be one of those things you can either do or can't. As a side-note Whittard's appear to have a vegan dark chocolate with espresso coffee bits in it... Steve W Oliver Slay [oliver] i tried this but when i got to melting the chocolate i found it had all been eaten... is there a simpler way of doing this?
