Thanks Oliver for the info.

 

Shell, I have a soya milk maker, which sounded like a good idea at the

time. Never heard of a tofu machine before but sounds interesting. The

problem with making soy milk is I have yet to find the appropriate

beans. The only beans I have found seem to be cattle fodder, as it tastes

appalling in milk. I have had the occasional success. This means I

haven't used it for ages as the taste of the milk is a gamble, normally

ended up making tofu with it most of the time (from failed milk). I can

only make a enough tofu for a meal from a double batch of soy milk. It's

just not worth the effort. Although I'd say to any enthusiast, I did find

out that making tofu with lemon juice instead of Niagri or other such

coagulant made superb tofu! Very firm and tasty, made good fillets.

Off to look for tofu machines!
