Guest guest
Thanks Oliver for the info. Shell, I have a soya milk maker, which sounded like a good idea at the time. Never heard of a tofu machine before but sounds interesting. The problem with making soy milk is I have yet to find the appropriate beans. The only beans I have found seem to be cattle fodder, as it tastes appalling in milk. I have had the occasional success. This means I haven't used it for ages as the taste of the milk is a gamble, normally ended up making tofu with it most of the time (from failed milk). I can only make a enough tofu for a meal from a double batch of soy milk. It's just not worth the effort. Although I'd say to any enthusiast, I did find out that making tofu with lemon juice instead of Niagri or other such coagulant made superb tofu! Very firm and tasty, made good fillets. Off to look for tofu machines! Rowan --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
