You might remember my earlier emails encouraging readers to vote for

permaculture friendly folk/protest band in the BBC Radio 3 'World Music

Awards' contest. Seems they've been removed from the running due their anti

war stance.

 

Seems once the war machine starts swinging into action, bye bye that veneer

of liberalism...

This is absolutely disgusting and I've written to the BBC to tell them

so. This isn't just an issue about a band and an award vote - the BBC

seems to be overlooking teh fact that a significant majority of the

British public, and thus a significant majority of its licence fee

payers, are opposed to war. Sadly, of course, the BBC isn't accountable

to its licence fee payers in any way, shape or form.
