Thai restaurants can be very good for vegans, in fact they're probably pretty much up there as one of my favourite foods. However, you do have to watch out for fish sauce, as it's a common ingredient in Thai food, and unless they specifically mark dishes as vegetarian, they may not be okay - then again, I think I've only been in one Thai restaurant that couldn't do anything vegan, and that was errrmm a few years ago. Egg's the only other thing that springs to mind to watch out for.
