Weddings - was Why is this group so quiet the last few months?

Hi Laura,

 

Sorry to hear about your boyfriend's dad. I've had no problem at

weddings (and I've been to quite a few recently). At one, I was the

only vegetarian - let alone vegan!! - and so my friend told me to

choose what I wanted. I appreciated that!

 

One guy at work refused to believe that my veganism was healthy

without my taking blood tests!!! Though he had to acknowledge that I

am one of the healthiest-looking people at my work when someone else

pointed this out!!

 

If your boyfriend's dad wants to argue with you or to " make you

realise how foolish you are being " , that's absolutely fair enough (as

I imagine, you'd agree ). However, I do hope that he keeps it out

of wedding plans!!! Yeuch! As if organising a wedding couldn't be

more stressful. I think that you are taking the right course of

action and I'm sure that your boyfriend's mum will appreciate that!

(And please pardon me if I seem partronising - I'm aiming for

reasuring.)
