Guest guest
Ronny's Campaign for a vegan cup of tea on the trains is off to a good start. One train company might be doing a trial for National Vegetarian Week. But what about the B & Bs?, the other trains?, the planes?, the ferries? British Home Stores? the world? Whatever your pet gripe for lack of a decent cup of tea with a dash of dairy free we empower you to do something about it. They said " No one ever asks for dairy free.... " So we said , " OK Then - you want people to ask do you? " Fine then - SO ASK!!!! You want it? - You got it! - A full list of everyone I could think of - if you think of any others add them to comments at the bottom of the page. http://www.worldveganday.org Thank you and good luck. PS Did you organize a vegan BBQ yet?

You can have black tea on trains, I do, isn't that vegan? To be honest I don't think I'd want a soya tea option, there are so many different brands, and preferred tastes, of soya milks that it would probably be horrible. Why not have more herbal teas, and real lemon tea, not " vegan " , for everyone. Have you tried the little tubs of soya UHT that the veganstore sells? It tastes grayer than it looks. Please don't make the trains, planes and BHS (?) et al serve that, it would put a lot of people off of dairy alternatives, and you after drinking that stuff you couldn't blame them. Guest guest
I used one the other day on the train, got given a few freebies by Vanessa at the Vegan Soc contacts social in Reading on Saturday. I liked it in tea on the way home on the train. Some people think cow juice tastes yucky but unless they have an ethical objection, they don't say it should not be available to those who like it. Personally I fully support Ronny's campaign, I think those little soya milk pots would go down well on trains with dairy allergic people as well as vegans and near-vegans. I like lemon tea now and then too though.
