There is a national veggie festival in Cambridge this coming Saturday

[14th June] organised by the Young Indian Vegetarians with speakers from

the Vegan Society, PETA, CIWF, etc etc plus food, music, stalls, etc.

People are coming from all over the country. There are three easy

moments to link up with the event:

11 a.m. Cambridge Vegans and Vegetarians normal second Saturday of the

month coffee and cake session at the Rainbow veggie bistro [opposite

Kings College chapel]

1 p.m. March starting from Parker's Piece [big slab of green in the

centre of Cambridge - a short bus ride from the station] with music,

leaflets, etc.

2.30 p.m. Main event at the Indian centre on Mill Road [large red

building beside the railway bridge about five minutes walk from the

station] - Vegan Soc and other stalls, music, Indian folk dancing,

awards to people in the veggie/animal movement etc etc

Hope to see lots of you there.

Vanessa
