I did know one, but she was persuaded back to being just vegetarian, apart from that, noone, except the people in my local vegan society4/ How long have you been a vegan, and how long vegetarian before that?

I was vegetarian for over 9 years, and have been vegan for about 7 1/2 months

5/ Why did you become vegetarian/vegan (if you are neither it would be useful to explain why you joined this list)?

My mother is vegetarian and although she fed us meat, I decided that being vegetarian was the way forward, I became vegan whilst travelling around Australia and New Zealand, quite a few people said that it would be a problem - but I found that although they eat a lot of meat, they are also very proud of their land and animals, and they taught me a lot. I think veganism is the natural progression for any vegetarian who is so because they don't like the way animals are treated.
